Blueberry Muffin Smoothie – This will be a GREAT “after-adjustment” smoothie, completely braces friendly!
Smoothies can be a great meal replacement after your orthodontic appointment when your teeth and gums are feeling sore and tender. Often times, it is hard to chew and enjoy your favorite meals for a few days following your orthodontic adjustment. Because of this, your nutritional health may be compromised during these days. That is why we love smoothies (especially ones mixed with quality protein powder)! They are delicious, nutritious and easy to consume without the discomfort. And an added benefit is that it won’t get caught in between or behind the braces either! Today we are sharing one of our favorite smoothie recipes. Give it a try after your next appointment at L&M Orthodontics!
